Who Is proudfoot.studio

Hey, I’m Kris, the person behind Proudfoot.Studio.

I taught myself Photoshop when I was a teenager, started building websites, and eventually realized I cared way more about how something felt than how it functioned. That curiosity slowly turned into making art, not by painting in a garage with a glass of red wine (although that sounds nice), but digitally, through layers, tools, and ideas using software like Photoshop.

Some people still think digital art isn’t as “real” as the stuff that gets splashed on canvas. And sure in todays day and age with A.I I’ve thought that too. But honestly? It’s not about how it’s made. It’s about whether it hits you in the chest, or makes your room feel a little more like you or perhaps somebody you once knew.

When it comes to showcasing artwork or prints, the frame makes all the difference. That’s why I use high-quality pine wood frames that strike the perfect balance between style, durability, and simplicity.

Each canvas is set in a 1.25″ thick pine frame, available in three versatile colors to suit different aesthetics. These frames create a beautiful floating effect, giving the artwork a modern, gallery-worthy look while still feeling warm and homey.

I choose these frames not just for looks but for quality you can feel:

  • Solid pine wood construction

  • Lightweight yet durable

  • Premium canvas with a sturdy, high-thread weave (great texture and long-lasting quality)

  • Open back with rubber pads to protect your walls

  • Pre-installed hanging hardware for easy setup

  • Responsibly sourced from Canada, the UK, and the US

Whether you're buying a finished piece or browsing custom options, you can trust that the frame is part of the quality. It’s all about the details and these frames help the artwork speak for itself. Below are real pictures of the frames.
